Managing Chronic Constipation

By the end of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Define constipation and its subtypes, and examine its pathophysiology

  • Discuss clinical evaluation, including stool apps, digital rectal examination, and novel diagnostic tests

  • Describe the latest treatment options for chronic constipation using a pathophysiologic-based approach, including biofeedback therapy
